DeepBuoy™ Buoyancy Gel
DeepBuoy™ is a patented low density fluid that when pumped into subsea vessels, will impart buoyancy to structures under water. It enables a new approach to variable buoyancy. DeepBuoy™ has been developed by Aubin Ltd and is being marketed to the Defence, Salvage and Fishing Industries by Stone Falcon.
This novel enabling technology is used for installing and recovering structures in subsea environments. At the heart of the concept is a low density fluid that can act as a form of “pumpable” buoyancy. Utilizing Archimedes principle this fluid can be used to create a buoyant force effectively changing the “weight” of a submerged object.

The variable buoyancy gel can be pumped allowing buoyancy to be added and removed in subsea situations. Furthermore, DeepBuoy™ is environmentally friendly, containing only non-hazardous materials.
